Max was not on this Earth very long, but while he was here his spirit shined. The following is a letter from his adoptive parents reflecting on Max. "Our greatest comfort is that we were able to show Max as much love as we could in the two weeks that he was with us. We are also comforted by the love he brought to us - we will always remember our boy, and he will always have a warm spot in our hearts. Maybe that is the reason -- Max needed to be shown what a loving family was like before he left this world. If so, then it was a privilege to know and love him." [Max is shown on his dad's lap, his favorite place, a few days before he left all of us.] .
